Santana Reunites With Old Buddy

Here's an old story well worth hearing once more ...

After forty long years Carlos Santana reunites with his buddy Marcus Malone. Malone, percussionist for Santana's band, performed at the famous Woodstock festival along with the rest of the members of the original rock band led by Carlos Santana.

Having seen better days, Malone had been living on the streets for over forty years. He had, by some luck, bumped into a reporter and had incidentally revealed to him that he had played for a rock band called Santana.

It is reported that Carlos Santana, hoping to find his old buddy, had traveled to Oakland on hearing of this. The reunion had been arranged by that reporter and the two finally met after a very long spell! Both were delighted to see each other.

Hopefully Marcus will once more perform with the band. So Santana fans, watch out for some more great music from Santana!

Santana had some smashing hits in the late sixties and the seventies. Out of them 'Soul Sacrifice,' a favorite of mine, was performed at the music festival Woodstock. Check it out!
